Author Nancy Tringali Piho will be speaking and signing books at this family friendly Feast. All proceeds from the Feast will benefit the San Antonio Public Library Foundation’s Born to Read initiative. The Born to Read initiative began in 2003 and has distributed more than an estimated 125,000 literacy bags containing two books (one bi-lingual) to babies born in Bexar County. As Crystal and Jason Dady are major “foodies” (obviously) with two small children, and one on the way, this program is near and dear to their hearts.
More about My Two-Year-Old Eats Octopus, Nancy Tringali Piho… My Two-Year-Old Eats Octopus approaches children’s nutrition with humor, style, and a critical eye. This unique guidebook demonstrates that children need to be taught how to eat well just as they are taught to walk offering plenty of information on how to go about change and where to find the best resources, this reference is guaranteed to broaden the horizon of any child’s menu.
With the Dady’s undying love of great Texas Pit barbeque and a desire for an environment where the entire family can enjoy their meal at leisure this outing is sure to be a crowd pleaser. The venue’s large “backyard” offers outside dining and one of the largest Rainbow Play Systems in San Antonio, an oversized sandbox and horseshoe pits offer play for the entire family.
