The story of “Crow Lake” may not be most perky summer lake reading around, but it is a wonderful portrayal of a family that comes to terms with an unexpected personal tragedy. Where the fractured family in Lawson’s book struggles mightily against the grinding rural poverty of Crow Lake, guests to this Feast will have the beautiful surroundings of Horshoe Bay to take them away on a far happier journey.

Positioned on a strategic point of the lake, the Swann home is pure paradise, where the views of the panoramic lake shores in the heart of the Texas Hill remind you that this is truly “God’s Country.” Deer, turtles, raccoons, just to name a few of the locals are all part of the make up of the community and the breathtaking beauty on this South side of Lake LBJ. Guest will dine on a Tuscan lunch while sitting on the Swann’s broad open patio running the length of the house and overlooking the lake. After the leisurely lunch Feast goers are invited to sit on the heavy wood lounge chairs where the lake’s gentle waters overlap the stone terraces.
